Terms and Conditions of service

These Terms and Conditions of Service (‘Terms’) provide you with an opportunity to purchase various products and services ('Products') that have been offered for sale by Reipolskyi Oleksandr trading as Southern Cross Tennis Academy (#ABN 95123101562) (Academy) either directly or via www.sctennis.au/ (‘Website’).

Purchasing the services and/or using, browsing and/or reading the Website, signifies that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Terms.

As a User, you agree to:

  • use of the tennis courts for the sole purpose of playing tennis for personal use;

  • follow the rules for singles play (2 players on a court) or doubles play (maximum of 4 players on a court);

  • while using the court or facilities managed by Academy, keep the noise level at the reasonable level respecting well-being of local residents;

  • be mindful of children that are present on the grounds, maintain appropriate language and ensure that Children safety regulations by Tennis Australia are followed at all times;

  • vacate the court when your booking ends and to be aware of the time as there may be other players waiting to come onto the court;

  • seek permission and authorisation if you are a tennis coach to perform coaching and/or competitions of any kind;

  • seek permission and authorisation to perform commercial video and/or photo shooting activities;

As a User you agree not to:

  • smoke, vape or drink alcohol at tennis courts or any facilities managed by the Academy including all areas of the tennis courts buildings, bathrooms and surrounding areas

  • bring and use portable music systems on tennis courts

  • bring dogs onto the tennis courts

  • ride bicycles, scooters or skateboards on the tennis courts

  • create additional (alias) player accounts/profiles to book courts

 

Bad behavior

The Academy management reserves the right to remove anyone who disobeys the conditions of entry or who displays inappropriate behaviour. In the case of serious offences or criminal activity, police will be contacted. The Academy management reserves the right to refuse entry in the future to perpetrators in such instances.

 

Casual Bookings

All casual bookings during peak times are to be paid in advance and are subject to our cancellation policy. Payment is preferred through our online web booking system but can also be made in person or over the phone. Bookings will be opened for the following month approximately one week before the end of each month for all casual bookings. In the event of rain, casual bookings must contact the centre by phone on the day to confirm that the courts are unsafe otherwise no credit will be issued.

The Academy is not liable for any failure to provide service due to the technical issues or issues of any other nature with web booking service. If you are having issues processing your payment or using a system, please contact us via phone or email so we can assist you.

 

Refund & Cancellation Policy

The following conditions apply to refunds and cancellation.

Casual booking cancellation due to change of mind are available within 24 hours prior to your booking. Cancellation can be made by clicking Edit booking link in your booking confirmation email. Upon cancellation, a credit will be issued that can be used toward your future court booking. No cash refund will be available for such cancellations.

For pre-paid class lessons, in the event, that you can no longer participate due to reasons of your own, we regret that no refunds or credits are available. If you can no longer play due to injury or severe illness, we are unable to provide cash refunds. A credit to your account may be given; however, the decision to issue a credit rests solely with management at Southern Cross Tennis Academy.

In the event of rain, credit to all bookings is valid as long as the rain is considered too heavy for play, or the courts are unsafe due to puddles. Players will need to contact the centre on 0422 156 344 on the day to confirm the playing conditions. If no contact is made with the centre and you do not turn up, you will be charged the normal court hire rate.

In the event of a cancellation in the required time or a wash out the credit will be applied to your account on our system to be used for future bookings. Any application for a refund must be made in writing to Southern Cross Tennis Academy. Refunds will only be considered from the date of your written application. In the event of pre paid court bookings a credit will be provided if twenty four (24) hours notice is made by contacting the centre to cancel. 100% of court fees will be charged if less than twenty four (24) hours notice is given to the centre.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and the security of personal information that we collect is of the utmost importance to us. You can be assured that none of your personal information is shared with any third parties. However, if you have any questions about our privacy policy or how we manage your personal information, please contact management at SCTA.contactus@gmail.com We will also provide information about how you can get access to and make any corrections to the personal information that we hold about you. We may update or revise our privacy policy from time to time.
